Ouseburn Wharf, Sheffield

Works on the former Porters site on St Lawrence Road in Newcastle to build 107 one and two bedroom apartments and three bed maisonettes were completed in February 2007.

Contractor, Tolent, moved onto the brownfield site in August 2005 marking an important first step for the Ouseburn regeneration scheme which has provided a major boost to the area.

All the apartments were pre-sold months ahead of construction, a huge selling point for the development being that the design layout ensures all apartments have views over the River Tyne, to the east of the Millennium Bridge.
