Tedder Road, York

One of York's most run down areas was given a £15 million facelift as a result of co-operation between S Harrison Developments, the City of York Council and Home Housing Association.

The 148 unit, mixed tenure residential development, completed in February 2005, included the provision of 46 new homes for rent and seven much needed low cost houses for sale.

North Yorkshire Police awarded Harrison a Secured By Design approval for the site, as it incorporates security features that meet the Association of Chief Police Officers' standards for physical security and development layout.
