HQ buildings
City of York Council headquarters and customer centre building at West Offices, York
Work is now well underway on the new HQ and customer centre for City of York Council.
S Harrison and partners Buccleuch Property successfully gained planning approval for their scheme to rejuvenate York's former railway station at West Offices in 2010. The £32 million project will provide prestigious new headquarters and accessible customer centre for the council as well as delivering signficant cost savings in operation.
The authority will move into the new HQ in 2013, rationalising the number of existing office locations down from 16 to just two, and providing a purpose-built York Customer Centre where customers can access council services quickly, simply and easily in one city centre location.
Stanley Harrison House, the former Time Office, the Chocolate Works, York
Work is completed on the £1.2million refurbishment and development of Stanley Harrison House at the former Terry's site in Bishopthorpe, York.
The new third tier of the building is home to the S Harrison team whilst LHL has moved its headquarters from Doncaster to the middle floor of Stanley Harrison House had relocated its York-based team from Clifton Moor to the new offices.
The ground floor is now available for lease as a whole or in two suites.

Escrick Business Park
Building works was completed in 2009 since when Escrick Business Park on the A19 York-Selby road just outside the village of Escrick has become one of the region's property success stories. Two storey office units and single storey warehouse units are available for occupation.

Hotel/leisure
New Hotel Indigo for Walmgate, York
A new boutique hotel on Walmgate will continue the regeneration of this area of the city. Harrison teamed up with Sojourn Hotels to bring forward plans which won approval from City of York Council. Construction work is now underway.
Hampton by Hilton hotel at Toft Green, York
A new £10 million hotel - which Avantis will operate as a Hampton by Hilton Hotel when it is completed in 2012.
Mixed use - town/city centre
Harrison was appointed against a strong field of competitors, to deliver a bespoke £100 million scheme to revitalise the Birmingham Road area and complement other areas of the city. The scheme includes enhanced retailing and revitalising residential use. The company has now entered into a 50:50 JV arrangement with Development Securities PLC to deliver the scheme.
It was Harrison's performance on the £100 million Friarsgate scheme, coupled with its sustainable vision in design, that led to Harrison has being appointed as Lichfield District Council's lead partner on an adjacent £14 million mixed use scheme at Friary Outer where work is now underway to create a new carpark, homes and a hotel.
